We want to take a moment to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generous donation to Helping Hands.
Your support is truly life-changing for so many in our community. Because of you, we’ll be able to cover our annual budget of $65,000, which directly funds part-time case managers who are there to answer calls from those in need, listen with empathy, and guide them toward the services and care they require.
Your contribution also allows us to maintain essential software subscriptions and conduct outreach, ensuring that those who need help most are aware of the opportunities available to them.
Additionally, your gift provides vital assistance to clients through flex funds, which help with basic needs like transportation, rent, and utilities.
Your kindness makes an incredible difference. Every call answered, every person helped, and every life improved is possible because of you!
With heartfelt gratitude,
The Helping Hands Team

At Fort Lauderdale Community Center’s NGO, BringBackHope (BBH), we are passionately supporting two life-changing initiatives in Ghana.
The first, Empowering Women and Girls (EWAG), sheds light on the significant workforce challenges women face, including a gender pay gap of 23% and a lack of leadership roles, with only 13% of women in such positions. Launched in 2022, EWAG has already provided training and job opportunities for eight remarkable women, ages 19 to 37.
Our second initiative, Uplifting Our Youth: The Modernization of Kotobabi NO2 Schools, aims to create sustainable development for public schools in rural Ghana, starting in Tema West.
Together, we’re building a brighter future for women, girls, and students in Ghana, one step at a time.
